Teenage Years - A poem

This one is to teenage years; though I'm actually not getting much nostalgic about those years. When I was a teen, How different I use to feel. How I lived in those days, Doing things in my own ways. My mood showed several ranges, All due to hormonal changes. How my behaviour was as a teen, Like, all the time irritated I had been. Things about which crazy I was, In which now I find many flaws. Gone are the teen years, Followed by the aging fears. Life is still plenty Making way for twenty…

Ah! Festivals...

Lately, the New Year (2016) dawned. But what was different this time was that the year 2015 passed quite quickly for me; earlier it was other people who used to say that the year went too fast, with the batting of the eyelids. I guess, it has something to do with older people (who don’t feel good each time the year passes reminding them of THE LIFE CLOCK) and maybe, now I have fallen in such category. I still feel like that it’s not long ago that 2009-2010 passed too long ago; I think I’m still living there, in that time period. You know that a festival is surrounding when your phone beeps at regular intervals displaying ‘DHAMAKA OFFERs’. And just as I logged into Facebook, the usual was the scenario; News Feed piling up with the New Year greetings, just like it is at the time of every festival.
